I feel so lucky to have moved near this vet office. Friendly, caring staff (who actually love their job and aren’t afraid to say so), great diversity of people working, very knowledgeable vet and vet tech. A+ experience. My cat peed in the carrier and they bent over backwards to clean him up and bag up the soiled liner. (See photo).
I have taken my rescue dog and cat here for nearly 4 years now. I appreciate NE Vet working with me to navigate their unknown pasts and develop a good care plan for them. Same day appointments have been such a comfort to me and help me feel supported when the "out of the ordinary" things happen with pets. I deeply appreciate the phone and in person conversations I have had with reception as well as the Dr's when I need advice on care for my pets.
We’ve been coming here since we first adopted our dog in early 2020. They’ve been awesome ever since.
Absolutely everyone’s kind and friendly, especially towards our shy dog. They’re thorough, organized, professional and knowledgeable. They made going to the vet “not as bad” for our pup.
Now, the prices. Our dog needs dental every year. I have tried other “affordable vets” once then we ran back to NE. The very small price difference is not worth it. NE takes care of our pup, no tricks, no fuzz and great results. Also, NE’s vaccinations turn out to be cheaper or the same price as other “affordable” options.
Have been bringing my animals here since the late 90s. I had rescued a pit bull puppy that was 3 months old. At that time, the Vet I was seeing told me my 3 month old puppy must be muzzled due to her breed. So, after calling about 8 other Vet offices. All of which were requiring me to muzzle my 3 month old puppy. I was lucky enough to call them. They DID NOT require me to muzzle a 3 month old puppy no matter her breed. So from that dat forward, I took my animals to NE VET.
From the front desk staff to the vets and vet techs, I have no complaints. My family continued to take their pets here even once I had moved out of state for several years. All those years I was out of state boy, did I miss NE VET. So far, they have taken care of 11 dogs of mine and 6 cats. I have taken my fosters to them as well as my own animals. I trust them. They are knowledgeable and are not trying to price gouge their clients. IF you are lucky enough to get in ( as periodically they take new clients), you won't be disappointed. I only give honest reviews. I tend to NOT review places that I dislike unless they were just that horrible.
I recommend Northeast Veterinary Hospital highly. I've been taking my terrier (12 years old) there since she was a puppy, and have always found the veterinarians and vet assistants to be attentive and knowledgeable. Last week Daisy had her annual exam with Dr. Ben Fisher. He gave her a very thorough exam, was very gentle with Daisy, and answered my many questions.
This was my first time using a vet tech appointment since my kitty was up to date on her annual exam and she only needed a couple of vaccines administered. I can’t remember the tech’s name but she was very friendly as well as efficient. It was a good experience and Athena and I were back home in a little over 30 minutes.
Everyone at Northeast Veterinary Hospital is always so welcoming and friendly. The veterinarians and vet techs are so knowledgeable and explain everything so it is easy to understand. The staff there are so good with my senior cat Cookie. It is obvious they truly care about your pet.
The front desk staff are so courteous and kind. They always make me feel welcome. I have always received the best care from the veterinarians. From detailed conversations, to personal calls to discuss treatment and options, NE Vet excels.
